Case Study: Miss Macaroon

Rosie Ginday founded Miss Macaroon as a social enterprise that combines her passion for premium quality food and her commitment to providing opportunities and building confidence for young people seeking a career. Miss Macaroon’s mission is to support young people to break into a highly competitive industry while delivering high quality products.

What they needed

Rosie needed a mentor with experience of setting up a business and who was willing to share lessons learned and best practice with her. Furthermore she was looking for someone who could give advice on her retail strategy.

What we did

After an initial conversation with Rosie, our Network Manager Skadi Falatik put her in touch with one of the co-founders of the coffee chain Coffee Republic. They agreed to work together, which remains a continued relationship. Skadi also introduced her to a retail adviser who proactively shared his network with Miss Macaroon. Those introductions supported Rosie to significantly strengthen her business strategy.
