who we work with

For social impact to be sustainable, it must be embedded at a system level. To achieve this, it is essential to fully engage with, and understand the role of, stakeholders from every sector. Indeed, the market failures that lead to entrenched disadvantage are often the result of a lack of understanding, and hence cooperation, between sectors.

The Shaftesbury Partnership works with leading organisations from across sectors, from the Royal Bank of Scotland to the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities, and from NESTA to Johnson.

Strong and active networks are essential to maintaining the ecosystem for social innovation. Through our team we maintain strong links with a number of organisations including UnLtd, On Purpose, Intentionailty, Clore Social Leadership, the Eden Project and Chapel St.

We occasionally work with very effective but under-scaled social enterprises to grow them into scaled and sustainable organisations. We are not consultants, but act as joint venture partners, sharing the risk and return. For example, we are currently working with the RE:generate Trust to expand their highly rated programmes that increase community engagement and participation.
